Want to keep that new car look?

Well you're in luck! This app will help by demonstrating the two bucket wash method.

The two bucket wash method uses two wash buckets, as indicated, to separate clean and dirty water, minimizing any possible damage that may be caused to the protective layers of paint on your car. It is highly recommended using this method if you care to keep your car looking show-room ready.

I love my Mini Cooper S, I bought it back in 2014 and it is the first new car I have ever owned. I intent to keep it well maintained and I thought it would be nice to share some information on how I just do that through the two bucket wash method.

Step 3 of 6

Suds ahoy! It's time to lather your sweet ride up with soapy suds! First give your car a nice spray down with your hose and then proceed to wash the car with the shampoo water. In this step, there is an important process to understand.

First, make sure that you tackle one panel or section of car at a time. Starting from the top of the car working your way down. Secondly, when using the two bucket method, you rinse off your wash mitt in the regular water bucket thoroughly before dipping it in the shampoo water.
